PLEASE NOTE: This is not an "official" page, nor does it represent an approved map or set of directions. The map and directions are part of this personal homepage and serve only to help students or other guests find the 1060 Commerce Park Office building!!!

Directions

For a general route map to approach Oak Ridge, please, see Oak Ridge/Knoxville Route Map.

From Knoxville:

Take Interstate I-40/I-75 to the Pellissippi Parkway (S.R. 162), take Pellissippi Pkwy. towards Oak Ridge (North).

Stay on Pellissippi Pkwy.: about 15 minutes to reach junction with Oak Ridge Highway (S.R. 62) and one mile further to Clinch River bridge.

Immediately after crossing the Clinch River, note the cemetary on the right, and move to the right lane. You are now on Edgemoor Road.

Take the first right turn after the cemetary (Yield, but no light). You are now on Kerr Hollow Road.

About 1 block (0.3 miles) you will see the sign for Commerce Park on the left side of the road. Turn left using center lane into Commerce Park. If you see the sign for the UT Arboretum on the right side, you have gone too far and need to double back.

Stay to the right after entering Commerce Park, take the first right turn, and go up the hill.

The first building on your right is 1060 Commerce Park with the sign also reading "Tech Building VI".

From Oak Ridge/Oliver Springs:

Take Illinois Avenue (South) or Lafayette Drive to Scarboro Road (towards the Y-12 plant).

You will leave the entrance to the Y-12 plant on your right and head up a steep hill.

Just after the top of the hill, as you start to go down again, take a left turn into Commerce Park.

You will note a large building on your left (Coors Technical Ceramics).

Take the first left onto Commerce Park Drive (at the Stop sign), heading North.

Stay on Commerce Park Drive until you have completed a half-circle (heading South). 1060 Commerce Park is the first building on your left after the Coors Technical Ceramics Building.

The sign also reads "Tech Building VI".

When entering building, please, remember to sign in and receive a temporary badge.

From Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL):

Take Bethel Valley Road (heading East, towards Oak Ridge) to first traffic light (intersection with Pumphouse Road, Scarboro Road, Edgemoor Road).

Take a left (heading North) onto Scarboro Road. Take the first right into Commerce Park.

You will note a large building on your left (Coors Technical Ceramics).

Take the first left onto Commerce Park Drive (at the Stop sign), heading North.

Stay on Commerce Park Drive until you have completed a half-circle (heading South). 1060 Commerce Park is the first building on your left after the Coors Technical Ceramics Building.

The sign also reads "Tech Building VI".

From Nashville:

Take Interstate I-40 towards Knoxille. Turn off I-40 at Exit 364. Take a left under the interstate bridge. You are now on S.R. 95 North.

After approximately 0.6 miles, you will cross the Clinch River. Stay on main road (curvy!!) and after about 0.7 miles, you will cross the White Oak Creek Dam.

After another 1.5 miles (curvy!! and steep slopes!!!), turn right onto Bethel Valley Road towards Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Let the main buildings pass on your right and go into the left lane at the electric sign "Thru Traffic". Make a slight left turn, staying on Bethel Valley Road.

After about 6 miles (heading East, towards Oak Ridge) you will come to a traffic light (intersection with Pumphouse Road, Scarboro Road, Edgemoor Road).

Take a left (heading North) onto Scarboro Road. Take the first right into Commerce Park.

You will note a large building on your left (Coors Technical Ceramics).

Take the first left onto Commerce Park Drive (at the Stop sign), heading North.

Stay on Commerce Park Drive until you have completed a half-circle (heading South). 1060 Commerce Park is the first building on your left after the Coors Technical Ceramics Building.

From Chattanooga:

Take Interstate I-75 towards Knoxville. Turn off I-75 at the Oak Ridge/Lenoir City Exit (S.R. 321). Turn left onto S.R. 321 North.

Go straight at traffic light (about 0.8 miles) at Eaton Crossroads.

After about 4 miles you will reach Interstate I-40. Go straight and underneath it. S.R. 321 has now changed into S.R. 95 North.

After approximately 0.6 miles, you will cross the Clinch River. Stay on main road (curvy!!) and after about 0.7 miles, you will cross the White Oak Creek Dam.
